Sumbangan Kotak Barakah is a program that is targeted to the poor and needy pilgrims. It aims to ease the burden on selected Bakal Haji families in meeting the daily needs, especially for basic family food items. Kotak Barakah contains various basic needs such as rice, cooking oil, cream milk, sardines, flour, sugar, noodles, tea, milo and coffee to be packed in plastic containers.

The program involves 20 branches of TH Branch throughout Malaysia with the cooperation of Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd. to supply the necessary goods. Each Branch TH office will hand over Kotak Barakah to 10 Bakal Haji who meet the criteria of senior citizens and reside in rural areas. This contribution will be delivered by the TH Branch Manager to the selected recipient.
